Strategic
partnership between Gissing Software and ITRS delivers results with
four customers already live and more in evaluation
Customers using joint solution include Bank of
America and Mitsubishi UFJ Securities International
London and New York, 3 December 2007 –
Gissing Software, solution
specialists in the routing and transformation of real-time market
and trade data, and ITRS, specialists in real-time systems and
application management, today announced that four customers are in
live production with their joint solution. Bank of America and
Mitsubishi UFJ Securities International are among the customers
using ITRS’s flagship Geneos product suite alongside Gissing
Software’s leading multi-vendor contribution system. A real-time
interface to the ITRS Geneos product suite within Gissing ConteX MCS
allows users to proactively manage and resolve any potential issues
that arise, ensuring no disruption to their mission-critical
real-time data contributions.
Since the integration between
Gissing ConteX MCS and ITRS Geneos was first announced 12 months
ago, the companies have added a number of additional features in
response to customer demand. The inclusion of a new heartbeat
field for Gissing ConteX MCS on the ITRS console enables users
to ensure that the contributions system and all monitored
handlers are live and working at all times. In addition, a new
status template allows clients to output and monitor hourly
statistics from Gissing ConteX MCS, giving them a clear
indication of the level of load that the system is under
throughout the day.
Commenting on the benefits of
the integrated solution, Jason Ross, Director, Rates Trading
Group, Mitsubishi UFJ Securities International said: “Mitsubishi
UFJ Securities International is already using ITRS Geneos to
monitor other systems within the company, so implementing the
capability to monitor the Gissing ConteX system made absolute
sense. This facility, currently deployed in our London office,
enables us to monitor and actively manage several of our
mission-critical systems, including Gissing ConteX and five data
output handlers, all from a central console.”
“We have built a strong
partnership with the ITRS team since we began working together
last year. The positive feedback and level of interest we’ve
received from our clients, with four customers already live and
more evaluating the joint Gissing and ITRS solution, reflects
this. We look forward to continued collaboration to deliver
benefits to our joint customers,” said Mike Hill, Marketing
Director, Gissing spokesperson.
