Gissing Software launches RealtimeXL .NET functionality at DWT London
New York and London, 11 May 2005 – Gissing Software, solution specialists for the capture, distribution, and manipulation of real-time market data announces its strategy for RealtimeXL .NET functionality at DWT London on 11 May 2005. Following the successful launch of RealtimeXL in the USA in March 2005, Gissing will also showcase the real-time pricing tool for the first time in the UK at the event.
.NET is a feature rich development environment which is rapidly becoming the platform of choice for many banks and financial institutions. RealtimeXL is designed for high efficiency handling of real-time data in Microsoft Excel and custom applications and now provides support for application developers writing applications in Microsoft's .NET environment.
Through the use of simple RealtimeXL .NET objects, application developers using languages such as Visual Basic and C# can take advantage of RealtimeXL's advanced market data engine and cache technology. This enables the retrieval, publication and management of multiple market data sources within their applications without any need to understand the complexity of the underlying market data platform APIs. This leaves the developers free to focus on the look and feel and functionality of the applications, significantly shortens development timescales and improves product quality. Clients can in turn react to market demand more rapidly.
