In response to requirements from both existing and new clients we've implemented a new facility to enable Gissing ConteX MCS to directly connect Gissing Bloomberg Trading Integration with Gissing RealtimeXL, and we've enhanced the data provided to the Status handler for use with ITRS Geneos. We've recently reviewed all Gissing ConteX MCS handlers in use at our clients around the world, and as a result have decided to retire several handlers which are either now obselete or no longer in use on any production system. Support for these handlers is withdrawn immediately and they're no longer available to be licensed.

The Commission of European Securities Regulators (CESR) have published what it says is its final guidance on the implementation of MiFID. But it still leaves a great deal of ambiguity in the rules on reporting of pre- and post-trade transparency. This could result in any published data not being easily consolidated and therefore undermining one of the primary objectives of MiFID: transparency of equity prices.
