Kevin Iraca has joined us as Managing Director, Gissing Software, Inc. Kevin has over 14 years' experience in the market data industry having held several senior positions at Bloomberg. He joins us from Thomson Financial where he was VP Real Time Content Set Lead. While most of our customers are multinational banks with substantial contribution activities, Gissing has been approached recently by prospective customers that have more modest contribution needs. A full Gissing ConteX MCS solution is more comprehensive, and more expensive, than these organisations require.
As a result, we will shortly introduce Gissing ConteX Express. This is a version of Gissing ConteX that allows only one input and one output handler. And it's available on a cost-effective annual license basis. More...

Faster and easier to use, Gissing RealtimeXL 2.0 supports RMDS, Triarch, Tib Rendezvous, Bloomberg and Gissing ConteX MCS. It also comes with converters for existing spreadsheets created with Power Plus Pro, Reuters DDE, TibCO DDE and Rtt.Multi. Other converters are in development.

Gissing Software is delighted to announce that it has become a corporate member of the Financial Information Services Division (FISD) of the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA).  Test sites needed for Reuters Marketlink-IP 1.5 handler
Reuters Marketlink-IP Version 1.5 is a limited release for their clients contributing prices to Reuters Trading for Fixed Income only.
We have developed a Marketlink-IP 1.5 output handler for Gissing ConteX MCS, and have thoroughly tested the software. But we don't have a Marketlink-IP connection ourselves, so we'd really like to try it out on one or two sites before it goes to final release. Gissing Software has added more support staff to the team in the UK and Gavin Higginbottom has been promoted to Head of Client Services. We are about to implement some other improvements to our support systems and the way our clients contact us.
