Contributing directly from Gissing RealtimeXL
You’re probably already aware that Gissing RealtimeXL has been designed to enable you to subscribe to market data from the major vendors in real-time. This means you can build pricing and other data processing applications in Microsoft Excel in combination with Gissing RealtimeXL, and process real-time market data.
However you may not be aware that you can also use Gissing RealtimeXL to contribute both indicative and executable prices in real-time, onto your choice of venue.
To do this, we connect Gissing RealtimeXL to Gissing ConteX MCS with the Gissing TC2I input handler. Gissing ConteX MCS then uses the appropriate output handler to connect to the market data venue. This configuration delivers a high performance, low latency solution for contributing directly from RealtimeXL without the need for a market data vendor’s license to be present on the system running RealtimeXL.
Gissing RealtimeXL Product Manager, Nick Braybrooke, says “In some configurations removing the need for a market data vendor’s license offers significant opportunity for cost reduction while maintaining performance.”
If you want to subscribe to internal data, the combination of Gissing RealtimeXL, Gissing ConteX MCS and the TCPO output handler offers a high-performance, low cost solution, again without any need for market data vendor licenses.
For more information about how Gissing RealtimeXL might benefit your organisation, and the potential cost savings, contact Nick Braybrooke or your Gissing account manager, or email enquiries@gissing.com .
