Mike VieyraMike Vieyra – Chief Executive Officer

Mike joined Gissing Software in January 2004, and brings with him a wealth of entrepreneurial experience in technology companies. Mike has worked in software and financial services for over 25 years, starting in real-time software development at Reuters and Digital Equipment Corporation (now HP). Mike's entrepreneurial career began in 1984 with a consultancy company and since then he has been involved in setting-up and growing a number of successful new companies and raising capital for others. Mike's background and experience makes him ideal to lead and drive Gissing's rapid expansion.

Richard GissingRichard Gissing – Chief Technology Officer

Richard was the founding partner at Gissing Consulting, which supplied market data software solutions to the financial markets in UK and Europe. Richard founded Gissing Consulting in 1991, and has over 20 years' experience of technology for the financial markets, with particular emphasis on market data contribution and trading gateways. His experience, knowledge and understanding of both the business and technology of the financial markets allow him to interpret business requirements and translate these into a technical solution. In addition to providing product and strategic technology direction for the company, Richard's key strength is in technical support of the sales process, excelling at high-level presentations and demonstrations of the company's products.

 

Graham Legg – Director of Development and Support

Graham is a senior software development manager with over 25 years' experience in the industry. Most recently he was Director of Development at business process management software company Metastorm. He has also held technical management positions in the Financial Services industry at Reuters, Extel and Cable & Wireless. He launched, grew and sold a successful web consulting and publishing firm, then spent three years managing IT architecture and security at systems integrator CMG (now LogicaCMG). Graham joined Gissing Software in December 2005 and is responsible for the management of Gissing's product development, internal IT and client support.

 

Stephen Kerigan – Financial Controller

After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1990, Steve spent a further seven years in the profession, principally in management consulting roles in the SME sector. Since leaving the profession, Steve has had a number of roles in both technology-based companies and more traditional industries. Steve brings a wealth of experience to assist in the controlled growth of Gissing Software. Stephen is responsible for the day-to-day financial administration and internal systems as well as overall planning and forecasting for the company.
