Trade in several ECNs markets simultaneously to manage your total position
The challenge:
If you trade across several Fixed Income ECNs then trades ideally need a single trading screen or interface to enable the quoting and hitting of prices on several markets at once to properly manage the entire position. Liquidity on the desired instruments may be spread across several ECNs, therefore a trader has to be able to submit orders for filling across many venues, without having to send requests to each ECN in turn and thereby missing opportunities.
The solution:
The Electra Market Aggregation Gateway from Gissing Software is a new and innovative product aimed at financial institutions that trade on multiple Fixed Income ECNs. Electra provides fully bi-directional interfaces to these various ECNs, allowing a financial institution to contribute prices (quotes), place and execute orders, view raw and aggregated prices, and capture and route trade confirmations across all connected ECNs via a single interface.

Electra aggregates prices and volumes from multiple ECNs and presents them either as a feed, or on a User Screen. It will allow users to trade on the information displayed by taking care of all communications with each of the exchanges. Trade confirms from each venue are also collated and displayed to users. Electra also allows Traders to submit prices to multiple information vendors for the same instruments to cover a wider user base and assist in generating more business.
